Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager within the Engineering Department, you will be a key asset in maintaining the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our kitchen and laundry equipment. Your expertise will directly impact the smooth functioning of culinary, food and beverage, housekeeping, and laundry operations, ensuring that our guests experience nothing short of perfection during their stay.

Key Responsibilities

As a Kitchen and Laundry Technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of kitchen and laundry equipment, including ovens, refrigeration units, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, and specialized culinary machinery. Ensure all systems operate at peak performance, minimizing downtime and disruptions to our operations.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, gas, and water-related faults with precision. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to pinpoint issues efficiently and implement effective solutions.
• Installation and Commissioning: Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards. Conduct functional tests post-repair to guarantee safety and reliability.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental regulations. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow established safety protocols when handling electrical, gas, or high-pressure systems.
• Documentation and Inventory Management: Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and spare parts usage. Ensure inventory levels of tools, materials, and replacement parts are optimized to support timely repairs.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to equipment failures and maintenance requests, prioritizing urgent issues to minimize operational delays and uphold service standards.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest advancements in kitchen and laundry technology. Proactively suggest innovations to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and align with sustainable practices.
