Your Role as IT Director in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

As the IT Director for IMMUNE TECHNOLOGY INSTITUTE in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the technological vision that underpins our digital campus, B2C bootcamps, and high-stakes B2B/B2G corporate training initiatives. Reporting directly to the General Manager and collaborating closely with the Global Operations team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust, secure, and scalable IT infrastructure that supports our ambitious growth trajectory in the region. This role demands a strategic leader who can align technology with business objectives while ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and seamless cross-border integration with our Madrid headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

• IT Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement a localized IT roadmap that aligns with our business expansion goals. Act as the primary technology advisor to executive leadership, establishing governance frameworks, best practices, and standardized IT service delivery protocols across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Infrastructure & Multi-Cloud Architecture: Oversee the design, deployment, and management of cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-campus physical technology stack, including high-density Wi-Fi networks, AV/streaming facilities, and specialized lab environments. Ensure systems are optimized for high availability, scalability, low latency, and cost efficiency.
• Cybersecurity & Regulatory Compliance: Implement and enforce enterprise-grade security controls and incident response protocols. Guarantee full compliance with Saudi Arabia’s stringent cybersecurity and data protection regulations, including the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA / ECC standards) and the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL / SDAIA).
• Core Business Platforms & EdTech Stack: Lead the integration, performance optimization, and data synchronization of critical enterprise platforms, including CRM systems (HubSpot/Salesforce), Learning Management Systems (LMS), ERPs, and automated student onboarding workflows.
• International & Cross-Border Deployment: Architect and maintain a secure, high-performance technology infrastructure that facilitates seamless integration between the Riyadh hub and Madrid headquarters. Coordinate shared services, unified identity management, and scalable platform deployment across borders.
• Team & Vendor Management: Lead, develop, and mentor the local IT and systems support team. Manage relationships with telecom providers, hardware vendors, software licensors, and local IT service contractors to ensure reliable and cost-effective technology solutions.

Your Ideal Profile

We are seeking a visionary IT leader with a proven track record in strategic IT architecture, cybersecurity governance, and EdTech systems integration. The ideal candidate will excel in translating complex technical challenges into clear, actionable business strategies while maintaining operational resilience in high-pressure environments. Strong cross-border collaboration skills and the ability to operate effectively within an international matrix structure are essential.

What You Bring

• Education & Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced certifications in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), cybersecurity (CISSP, CISM), or IT governance (ITIL, COBIT) are highly desirable.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive IT leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a director-level role. Demonstrated expertise in multi-cloud architecture, cybersecurity compliance, and enterprise system integrations within the education or EdTech sector is preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of cloud platforms, cybersecurity frameworks, CRM/LMS integrations, and IT governance. Familiarity with Saudi Arabian regulatory environments and data sovereignty requirements is a significant advantage.
• Leadership & Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, influence C-level decision-making, and lead high-performing IT teams. Strong crisis management and problem-solving skills are critical.
• Cross-Cultural Competency: Experience working in international or multi-regional environments, with the ability to balance local operational needs with global corporate standards.
