Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Roads Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, permanent position offering the opportunity to contribute to transformative infrastructure projects in the region. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of four years of experience in infrastructure projects, with at least one year of hands-on experience working within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This role demands a deep understanding of roads and highway design, including geometric design, traffic analysis, grading, intersections, junctions, and pavement design, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and oversee the development of roads and highways for a variety of infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client requirements.
• Perform and review road geometry, horizontal and vertical alignment, grading, pavement design, and other critical engineering analyses to optimize road systems.
• Ensure all road designs adhere to local regulations, standards, and best practices, including KSA-specific codes and authority requirements.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and cross-functional engineering teams to integrate road systems seamlessly into broader project designs.
• Coordinate road levels, corridors, crossings, junctions, and interfaces with other infrastructure disciplines to ensure cohesive and functional project outcomes.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports, plans, and documentation to support project execution and compliance.
• Review designs and technical deliverables prepared by engineers, designers, and BIM/CAD teams to maintain high standards of accuracy and quality.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
• Act as a liaison with government authorities, clients, and stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met and approvals are secured efficiently.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of four years of professional experience in infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on roads and highways.
• At least one year of relevant experience working within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is mandatory.
• In-depth knowledge of road and highway systems, including design and construction practices, with a keen eye for detail and innovation.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering design software, such as Civil 3D and Autodesk Vehicle Tracking, to deliver precise and efficient designs.
• Strong understanding of KSA codes, standards, and authority requirements to ensure compliance and project success.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is considered a valuable asset.
