Key Responsibilities

The Transfer Pricing Manager will be responsible for the following core functions:

• Transfer Pricing Compliance & Advisory:
  • Provide expert guidance on transfer pricing strategies and compliance in alignment with Saudi Arabian tax laws and OECD guidelines.
  • Lead the development of comprehensive transfer pricing documentation, including local files, master files, and benchmarking analyses tailored to financial transactions such as intercompany loans, guarantees, and cash pooling arrangements.
  • Represent clients during tax audits and assist in resolving transfer pricing disputes with regulatory authorities.
• Financial Transactions Expertise:
  • Advise on the pricing and structuring of related-party financial transactions, including funding mechanisms, guarantees, treasury operations, and financial instruments.
  • Conduct rigorous benchmarking analyses to validate compliance with the arm’s-length principle for financial arrangements.
• Client & Project Management:
  • Oversee multiple client engagements, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality services within budget and scope.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients by understanding their unique business needs and delivering tailored transfer pricing solutions.
• Leadership & Team Development:
  • Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their technical proficiency and professional growth through constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive, client-centric outcomes on complex, cross-border projects.
• Knowledge Development & Innovation:
  • Monitor and interpret global and local regulatory changes in transfer pricing, particularly as they relate to financial transactions, and assess their implications for clients.
  • Leverage industry insights and analytical tools to enhance the quality and efficiency of transfer pricing deliverables.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline. A postgraduate qualification or professional certification such as CFA, ACCA, ACA, or CPA is strongly preferred.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in transfer pricing, with a significant focus on financial transactions.
  • Prior exposure to the GCC region is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • In-depth understanding of OECD guidelines, BEPS initiatives, and Saudi tax regulations.
  • Hands-on experience in structuring and pricing intercompany financial arrangements.
  • Proficiency in conducting benchmarking analyses using specialized tools and methodologies.
• Soft Skills:
  • Exceptional project management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership in team development and client relationship management.
