Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the following core duties:

• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable Management: Oversee the processing of vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations to ensure seamless cash flow management. Monitor accounts receivable to minimize delays and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor budgets, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Provide insights into financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
• Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all financial activities comply with local and international accounting standards, including Saudi Arabian Financial Reporting Standards (SAFRAS) and IFRS. Maintain meticulous records to facilitate audits and regulatory reviews.
• Tax Planning and Reporting: Assist in tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities while ensuring full compliance with tax regulations. Prepare and file tax returns accurately and on time.
• Internal Controls and Risk Management: Implement and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks. Identify potential areas of financial exposure and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with department managers, executives, and external auditors to provide clear financial insights and support operational goals. Act as a trusted advisor on financial matters.

Qualifications and Skills:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CIA is a significant advantage.
• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong background in general ledger management, financial reporting, and compliance. Prior experience in a trading or commercial environment is highly preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of accounting software such as SAP, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions and pivot tables) is essential.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to interpret financial data, identify discrepancies, and propose actionable solutions. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all financial transactions.
• Communication and Leadership: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Ability to present financial data clearly and concisely to non-financial audiences.
