Position Overview

Irtiqaa Holding is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Riyadh. As a Junior Accountant, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end closings, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Key Responsibilities

• Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and invoices, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Expense Management: Process and verify expense reports, ensuring all transactions align with company policies and industry regulations.
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolve them promptly.
• Assistance in Month-End Closing: Support the accounting team during month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, adjustments, and reporting.
• Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with local tax laws and financial regulations, preparing and submitting required reports to relevant authorities.
• Vendor and Client Payments: Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing payments, tracking outstanding balances, and resolving payment discrepancies.
• Budget Support: Assist in preparing and monitoring departmental budgets, providing insights to optimize financial performance.
• Data Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as operations and procurement, to ensure seamless financial operations and alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Prior experience in accounting roles, preferably within the restaurant or hotel industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle, and strong Excel skills.
• Familiarity with local tax laws and financial regulations in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional certification, such as CPA or ACCA, is a plus but not required.
