Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Oversee the planning, design, and execution of architectural and engineering projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, budgetary constraints, and timelines. Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
• Technical Oversight: Provide expert guidance on architectural design principles, structural integrity, and engineering best practices. Review and approve project drawings, specifications, and construction documents to ensure compliance with local and international standards.
• Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of architects, engineers, and technical staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Assign tasks, monitor progress, and evaluate performance to ensure project success.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines. Liaise with government agencies and municipalities to secure necessary approvals and permits.
• Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage project budgets, allocating resources efficiently to maximize productivity and minimize waste. Monitor expenditures and implement cost-control measures where necessary.
• Quality Assurance: Implement robust quality control processes to verify that all project deliverables meet the highest standards of excellence. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
• Innovation and Sustainability: Drive the adoption of sustainable design practices and cutting-edge technologies to enhance project efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and deliver long-term value to stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and professional attributes:

• A bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., LEED, PMP) is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in architectural and engineering project management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or managerial capacity.
• Proven expertise in designing and delivering large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably in the Middle East or similar markets.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes, zoning laws, and international construction standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, BIM 360, and project management platforms.
