At daa International, we empower airport owners and investors by delivering tailored, high-impact solutions that drive value and operational excellence. As a division of the globally recognized daa Group, we combine deep industry expertise with innovative strategies to optimize airport performance, investment returns, and commercial success. With over 5,000 professionals across our network, we foster a dynamic, collaborative environment where ambition meets precision—where every decision is backed by data-driven insights and where leadership thrives on diversity, inclusion, and continuous growth.

We are seeking a strategic and visionary Head of Financial Planning and Analysis to join our Finance Leadership Team and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of Red Sea International Airport. Reporting directly to the CFO, this senior executive will lead financial strategy, performance management, and executive decision-making, ensuring alignment between financial discipline and long-term business objectives. This is an opportunity to influence major financial initiatives, mentor high-potential finance talent, and drive operational efficiency in one of the most transformative infrastructure projects in the region.

Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, you will:

  • Lead Financial Strategy and Planning: Oversee the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes, translating strategic goals into actionable financial roadmaps, scenario analyses, and multi-year forecasts.
  • Drive Executive Decision-Making: Provide forward-looking financial insights and recommendations to support the CFO, board, and senior leadership in critical strategic and operational decisions.
  • Optimize Revenue and Profitability: Collaborate with commercial, operational, and business leaders to enhance revenue streams, cost management, and overall financial performance.
  • Ensure Financial Transparency: Develop and maintain robust monthly management reporting, KPI dashboards, and executive analytics to provide real-time visibility into financial health and emerging trends.
  • Evaluate Strategic Initiatives: Lead the development, review, and governance of business cases for capital investments, new projects, and organizational transformations, applying rigorous financial methodologies such as ROI, IRR, NPV, and payback analysis.
  • Monitor Portfolio Performance: Track project and investment performance against budgets, timelines, and approved business cases, proactively identifying risks and recommending corrective actions.
  • Support Workforce and Cost Strategy: Partner with HR and business leaders to align workforce planning with financial objectives, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising operational excellence.
  • Deputy CFO Responsibilities: Step in as Deputy CFO when required, providing leadership across finance governance, stakeholder engagements, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Advance Finance Governance: Drive continuous improvement in financial policies, controls, and reporting standards, ensuring compliance and best practices across the organization.
  • Mentor and Develop Talent: Foster a high-performance finance culture by mentoring junior and mid-level finance professionals, nurturing their growth, and aligning their development with organizational goals.

This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record in FP&A, commercial finance, or related leadership positions. You will thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment where your expertise in financial modeling, investment evaluation, and stakeholder management will be instrumental in shaping the future of Red Sea International Airport.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline, complemented by a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, SOCPA, or equivalent).
  • 8+ years of experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, or Commercial Finance, with a strong focus on leadership roles within complex organizations.
  • Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning, including the ability to develop integrated financial models and scenario analyses.
  • Deep knowledge of financial evaluation methodologies, including ROI, IRR, NPV, and capital investment appraisal, with a track record of supporting high-stakes strategic decisions.
  • Experience in aviation, infrastructure, or capital-intensive industries is highly desirable, though not mandatory for candidates with exceptional transferable skills.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at the executive level.
  • A results-oriented mindset, with a commitment to excellence, continuous learning, and fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture.

Join daa International and be part of a mission to redefine airport ownership and investment. Your strategic acumen and financial leadership will be instrumental in unlocking the full potential of Red Sea International Airport—where innovation meets impact.
