Key Responsibilities

The Senior Expert - Software Engineer will play a critical role in the following areas:

• Software Development: Lead the end-to-end development of software applications, including architecture design, coding, testing, and deployment. Utilize best practices in software engineering to ensure robust, maintainable, and high-performance solutions.
• System Architecture: Design and optimize scalable software architectures that align with business requirements and technological advancements. Evaluate emerging technologies and frameworks to recommend innovative solutions.
• Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, security protocols, and performance benchmarks. Implement automated testing frameworks to validate software functionality and reliability.
• Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define project requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver solutions on time. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to foster a culture of continuous learning and excellence.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or equivalent professional certification is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role. Proven track record of delivering complex software projects from conception to deployment.
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript. Strong knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps) and tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Docker).
• Architectural Skills: Experience in designing scalable, distributed systems and microservices architectures. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
