Position Overview

As a Section Manager, Internal Audit – Manufacturing, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing the internal audit function within our manufacturing operations. This position is designed for a seasoned professional who combines strong leadership skills with deep expertise in audit methodologies, risk management, and compliance. Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing internal audit team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth. Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of audit engagements.
• Audit Planning and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive audit plans aligned with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements. Conduct risk assessments to identify key areas of focus, ensuring comprehensive coverage of manufacturing processes, supply chain operations, and financial controls.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, identify control deficiencies, and recommend robust solutions to mitigate risks. Collaborate with senior management to address emerging risks and enhance operational resilience.
• Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to internal policies, industry regulations, and international standards (e.g., ISO, SOX). Oversee the implementation of corrective actions and track their progress to closure, maintaining a strong focus on regulatory compliance and ethical conduct.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and operational teams, providing clear and actionable insights. Facilitate communication between audit teams and stakeholders to promote transparency and alignment with business objectives.
• Process Improvement: Drive initiatives to streamline audit processes, leverage technology for enhanced efficiency, and implement best practices in internal auditing. Identify opportunities to optimize manufacturing operations through data-driven recommendations.
• Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present audit findings, risk assessments, and recommendations to the Audit Committee and senior management. Ensure reports are concise, accurate, and tailored to the audience, highlighting critical issues and actionable insights.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in internal audit, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or leadership role within a manufacturing environment. Prior experience in a multinational corporation or a diversified industrial group is a strong advantage.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in audit software (e.g., ACL, TeamMate), ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and data analytics tools. Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and local regulatory frameworks is essential.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, manage conflicts, and drive consensus. Fluency in English is required; additional language proficiency is a plus.
