Key Responsibilities

The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing a wide range of financial activities while ensuring the financial health and stability of the organization. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare comprehensive financial reports, interpret complex financial data, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management. Translate financial information into clear, concise, and strategic business insights to support decision-making.
• Strategic Financial Planning: Develop and maintain robust financial forecasts, projections, and trend analyses to guide the company’s long-term financial strategy. Advise on investment opportunities and recommend optimal strategies to enhance profitability and growth.
• Cost Management and Optimization: Analyze costs, pricing structures, and variable contributions to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. Evaluate financial performance against business plans and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
• Budgeting and Financial Controls: Lead the company’s budgeting process, set clear financial objectives and targets, and establish frameworks to achieve them. Ensure adherence to financial controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow proactively, tracking commitments such as contracts, supplier payments, and points of sale. Develop inventory plans aligned with sales operations to optimize working capital and support growth initiatives.
• Team Leadership and Collaboration: Supervise and mentor the Accounting Team, fostering a culture of accuracy, transparency, and accountability. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including auditors, service providers, and external partners, to ensure seamless financial operations and alignment with business objectives.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted financial advisor to senior management, providing regular updates on financial performance, risks, and opportunities. Maintain strong relationships with auditors, suppliers, and IT/HR service providers to ensure smooth financial processes and compliance.
• Operational Oversight: Conduct regular visits to company offices and warehouses to maintain direct communication with operational teams, ensuring alignment between financial strategies and on-ground execution.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a results-driven Finance Manager with a proven track record in the FMCG industry. The successful candidate will combine technical financial expertise with strong commercial acumen and leadership skills. Key attributes include:

• Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive finance experience, with a strong preference for candidates with FMCG sector expertise. A deep understanding of the financial and commercial dynamics of the FMCG industry is essential.
• Professional Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Professional qualifications such as CPA, CFA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in financial management, accounting principles, and financial analysis. Proficiency in financial and accounting software is required, along with a strong grasp of financial legislation, regulations, and compliance standards.
• Leadership and Communication: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop finance teams, coupled with exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Fluency in both Arabic and English is mandatory to facilitate effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights. Proven problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying financial risks and opportunities.
