Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic position, your responsibilities will span core accounting functions, financial reporting, and system management, ensuring our organization’s financial health remains robust and transparent. Your expertise will be instrumental in:

• General Accounting & Financial Integrity: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations within SAP S/4HANA, including the precise recording, verification, and maintenance of all financial transactions. Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and adjustments with meticulous accuracy, ensuring full compliance with IFRS and local regulatory standards. Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, guaranteeing timely and error-free reporting to support strategic financial planning.
• Accounts Payable (AP) & Vendor Management: Process and validate supplier invoices with rigorous documentation checks, ensuring all vendor-related transactions are accurately recorded in SAP. Monitor payment schedules to facilitate timely vendor settlements while reconciling statements and resolving discrepancies proactively. Collaborate closely with procurement and operational teams to streamline invoice approvals and address vendor-related challenges.
• Accounts Receivable (AR) & Cash Flow Optimization: Maintain precise records of customer invoices and receipts, while actively monitoring account balances to minimize overdue payments. Conduct AR reconciliations and aging analyses, and partner with sales and billing teams to resolve customer account discrepancies. Drive initiatives to improve cash flow and reduce outstanding receivables through targeted collection efforts.
• Fixed Assets Register (FAR) & Capitalization Compliance: Oversee the maintenance and updates of the Fixed Assets Register, including acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and depreciation calculations. Ensure strict adherence to accounting policies for asset classification and capitalization, while conducting periodic verifications and reconciliations. Assist in annual physical asset counts and audits to validate asset integrity.
• SAP S/4HANA ERP Excellence: Serve as a subject matter expert for SAP S/4HANA, ensuring accurate and timely transaction postings while safeguarding master data integrity for vendors, customers, and fixed assets. Generate and analyze standard and customized financial reports to support data-driven decision-making. Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance ERP efficiency and user adoption.
• Financial Reporting & Compliance Leadership: Prepare balance sheet schedules, account reconciliations, and management reports with precision, ensuring alignment with financial statements. Support internal and external audits by providing comprehensive documentation and insights. Champion compliance with healthcare industry regulations and internal control procedures, fostering a culture of financial transparency and accountability.

Qualifications & Experience

We are seeking a **Senior Accountant** with a proven track record of excellence in financial management, particularly within the medical, healthcare, or pharmaceutical sectors. Your qualifications should include:

• Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, complemented by a professional certification such as ACCA, CMA, CPA, or CA (preferred).
• Experience: 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong focus on General Ledger, AP, AR, and Fixed Assets management. Hands-on experience in month-end closing and financial reporting is essential, alongside deep familiarity with SAP S/4HANA—a mandatory requirement for this role.
• Skills & Competencies: Advanced proficiency in SAP S/4HANA Finance Modules, coupled with mastery of Microsoft Excel for complex financial analysis. Demonstrate exceptional analytical and reconciliation skills, paired with an unwavering commitment to accuracy and attention to detail. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities are critical, as is the capacity to thrive under pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines.
