Key Responsibilities

In this strategic role, you will:

• Lead Linux Infrastructure Support: Expertly manage, configure, and troubleshoot RHEL, CentOS, and Oracle Linux environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. Handle installation, patching, and automation through shell scripting to streamline operational workflows.
• Master OpenShift 4.x Administration: Oversee the lifecycle of OpenShift clusters, including deployments, upgrades, and patch management. Manage critical components such as Projects, Routes, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Persistent Volumes (PVs/PVCs), RBAC, and SCC. Troubleshoot platform issues, optimize performance, and integrate with Operators, Helm Charts, and CI/CD pipelines to support scalable containerized applications.
• Resolve Complex Technical Issues: Provide L2/L3 support for Linux, OpenShift, and middleware platforms, ensuring adherence to SLAs. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents and drive automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Development, Network, Security, Database, and Infrastructure teams to coordinate deployments, upgrades, and security compliance activities. Participate in on-call rotations and major incident management to ensure minimal downtime.
• Enhance Security and Compliance: Implement security hardening measures, remediate vulnerabilities, and ensure audit compliance. Manage SSL certificates, identity access controls, and authentication mechanisms to fortify system integrity.
• Document and Innovate: Create and maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles. Propose and implement improvements to existing processes, focusing on automation and scalability.
• Support Middleware Ecosystems: Leverage expertise in WSO2 API Gateway/API Manager to administer API publishing, security policies, and integrations. Manage WSO2 Identity & Access Management (IAM), including SSO, OAuth2, OIDC, and SAML configurations. Troubleshoot enterprise integration solutions using Apache Camel, optimize Redis clusters for caching, and administer ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for log management and analytics.
• Ensure Reliability and Performance: Monitor infrastructure and application health, perform capacity planning, and conduct performance tuning to guarantee optimal system operations.
