Key Responsibilities

The IT Operations Analyst will be responsible for a wide range of activities designed to support and optimize our organization’s IT infrastructure. Your core duties will include:

• Network and System Monitoring: Assist in the continuous monitoring of network components, systems, and digital services to identify and address potential issues before they impact operations. This includes conducting basic tests of the organization’s technical infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Provide technical support for daily network problems by troubleshooting and resolving incidents in a timely manner. Analyze faults in systems and networks, document resolutions, and escalate complex issues to external service providers when necessary.
• Proactive Monitoring and Reporting: Prepare and maintain proactive monitoring strategies to identify events that may affect service and network performance. Develop comprehensive reports on network performance, capacity utilization, and potential improvement opportunities to support data-driven decision-making.
• Capacity Management: Analyze and manage the capacity of technical devices and components to ensure they are utilized efficiently. Monitor wired and wireless networks continuously to guarantee their availability and performance meet organizational requirements.
• Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with IT teams and external stakeholders to coordinate activities related to digital services, applications, and infrastructure management. Ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Documentation and Compliance: Prepare periodic reports on departmental activities, achievements, and performance improvement proposals. Adhere to the organization’s work controls, cybersecurity policies, and unit-specific procedures to maintain a secure and compliant IT environment.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and technological advancements to drive operational excellence. Support initiatives aimed at improving system reliability, reducing downtime, and enhancing user experience.
• Ad Hoc Tasks: Perform any additional tasks or projects assigned by direct supervisors to support the broader objectives of the IT operations team.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, ITIL, or Cisco CCNA) are a plus.
• Proven experience in IT operations, network administration, or a similar technical support role, with a strong understanding of network infrastructure, protocols, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, PRTG) and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) to track and resolve incidents efficiently.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose technical issues and implement effective solutions under pressure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and stakeholders.
