Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager, AV Broadcast Technology Solutions – Sports (SPA) to lead the development and implementation of cutting-edge audio-visual (AV) and broadcast technology solutions for sports and entertainment venues in the Qiddiya project. This pivotal role will oversee the integration of advanced AV systems, ensuring seamless operations, unparalleled user experiences, and alignment with global industry standards. Key Responsibilities

The Senior Manager will be responsible for the following core functions:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive AV broadcast technology strategy tailored to sports and entertainment venues, ensuring alignment with Qiddiya’s vision and operational objectives.
• Technology Integration: Lead the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of state-of-the-art AV broadcast systems, including high-definition video walls, immersive audio systems, live production suites, and real-time streaming solutions.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and industry partners to define technical requirements, evaluate solutions, and ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
• Project Management: Oversee end-to-end project delivery, from initial concept to final implementation, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. This includes managing cross-functional teams, contractors, and third-party suppliers.
• Innovation and Compliance: Stay abreast of emerging AV broadcast technologies, industry trends, and regulatory standards to recommend innovative solutions that enhance performance, safety, and user experience. Ensure compliance with international broadcast and AV industry best practices.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks in AV system deployments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure uninterrupted operations during high-profile events and daily venue activities.
• Team Development: Mentor and lead a high-performing team of AV engineers, technicians, and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Broadcast Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CTS, AVIXA, SMPTE) are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in AV broadcast technology, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role within sports, entertainment, or large-scale venue environments. Proven track record in delivering complex AV projects from conception to completion.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of AV broadcast systems, including video production, live streaming, audio reinforcement, digital signage, and control room operations. Familiarity with industry-standard software and hardware platforms is essential.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage stakeholders, and drive consensus in high-pressure environments. Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities are critical.
• Communication and Collaboration: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in AV technology, project management (e.g., PMP), or broadcast engineering are advantageous.
