Role Overview

As a Senior Asset Infrastructure Design Specialist at Qiddiya Investment Company, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the foundational infrastructure of one of Saudi Arabia’s most ambitious and visionary projects. Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Design Leadership: Lead the conceptualization, planning, and execution of asset infrastructure designs, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and innovation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate infrastructure solutions that support Qiddiya’s diverse operational needs.
• Asset Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of infrastructure assets, from initial design and procurement to implementation, maintenance, and eventual decommissioning. Develop strategies to maximize asset performance, minimize downtime, and extend operational longevity.
• Technical Expertise and Innovation: Apply advanced technical knowledge in infrastructure design, including civil, mechanical, electrical, and digital systems, to deliver cutting-edge solutions. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate best practices and innovative approaches into Qiddiya’s infrastructure framework.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, architects, and external partners, to align infrastructure designs with business goals and regulatory requirements. Facilitate seamless communication and coordination to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Risk Assessment and Compliance: Conduct thorough risk assessments and ensure all infrastructure designs comply with local and international standards, safety regulations, and sustainability guidelines. Implement robust risk mitigation strategies to safeguard Qiddiya’s assets and operations.
• Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of infrastructure assets. Analyze performance data to identify opportunities for optimization, cost reduction, and enhanced operational resilience.
• Sustainability and Future-Proofing: Champion sustainable design principles by integrating eco-friendly materials, energy-efficient systems, and renewable energy solutions. Ensure infrastructure designs are adaptable to future technological advancements and evolving business needs.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a robust blend of technical expertise, leadership acumen, and a passion for innovation. The ideal candidate will have:

• A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications in infrastructure design or asset management are highly desirable.
• A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in infrastructure design, asset management, or a closely related discipline, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior specialist role.
• Proven expertise in designing and managing complex infrastructure systems, including utilities, transportation networks, digital infrastructure, and sustainability initiatives.
• Strong proficiency in industry-standard design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM 360, and familiarity with project management tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate technical data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is required, with strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
