Key Responsibilities

The Preseller plays a critical role in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) sales team, with the primary objective of maximizing sales volume while minimizing stales, achieving distribution targets, and implementing agreed-upon merchandising standards. This position is responsible for collecting accounts receivable, maintaining high levels of customer service, and ensuring adherence to operating procedures to uphold consistency across the KSA. Additionally, the Preseller will provide market insights to their supervisor to identify and develop sales opportunities. Professional development and customer service training are integral components of this role, and daily debriefings with the supervisor are required to review performance and progress.

• Sales Execution: Sell the full range of PepsiCo products to an agreed-upon list of customers, with performance measured against predefined targets. Ensure stales remain below the agreed-upon threshold set by the supervisor.
• Customer Service: Deliver the level of service approved by the supervisor, adhering to call frequencies and daily route plans to maintain customer satisfaction. The supervisor will review customer visits during daily debriefing sessions to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily and weekly vehicle checks as outlined in operating procedures. Maintain the sales vehicle in a clean and roadworthy condition, reporting any defects or damage to the supervisor immediately.
• Order Fulfillment: Ensure customer orders are ready to ship on time, including full details and delivery arrangements as required.
• Stock Management: Monitor and maintain individual customer stock levels to agreed-upon requirements, minimizing out-of-stock issues and ensuring product availability.
• Merchandising Implementation: Execute in-store merchandising standards as communicated by the supervisor. Collaborate with merchandising support teams to align on plans and ensure consistency across outlets.
• Market Intelligence: Provide the supervisor with updates on competitor activity within the assigned area to inform strategic decision-making.
• Financial Reconciliation: Conduct daily reconciliation of all cheques, cash, and credit sales to ensure accuracy and accountability.
• Professional Conduct: Maintain a neat and presentable appearance at all times. Adhere to high standards of driving and comply with all driving regulations to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Training and Development: Attend training courses designed to enhance professionalism and customer service skills, contributing to continuous personal and professional growth.
