As a Sr. Merchandiser, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our products maintain a strong on-shelf presence, driving sales and customer engagement while upholding our commitment to sustainability and human capital through our strategic initiative, PepsiCo Positive (pep+).

Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic and fast-paced role, you will be responsible for maximizing the visibility and availability of PepsiCo products in assigned retail outlets. Your primary duties will include merchandising products in accordance with approved planograms, ensuring compliance with display standards, and maintaining a clean, fresh stock of products. You will also be tasked with placing point-of-sale (POS) materials to enhance brand visibility and reporting any deviations from agreed terms to the pre-seller promptly. Additionally, you may be required to conduct in-store sampling sessions and participate in promotional campaigns to further drive consumer engagement.

The Sr. Merchandiser will follow a daily journey plan provided by their supervisor, calling on specific outlets to ensure products are merchandised in various access points, including shelves, stands, and floor displays. You will rotate products using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method, remove sub-standard products, and monitor competitive activities to identify selling opportunities. Maintaining professional behavior and appearance in line with PepsiCo’s code of conduct is essential, as is submitting daily activity reports to your supervisor.

Accountabilities

• Execute daily merchandising tasks in assigned outlets as per the provided journey plan.
• Merchandise PepsiCo products in designated access points, including shelves, stands, and floor displays.
• Place POS materials adjacent to PepsiCo displays to enhance brand visibility.
• Adhere to approved planograms for all access points to ensure consistent product presentation.
• Rotate stock using the FIFO method and remove any sub-standard or expired products.
• Maintain a clean and fresh stock of products on shelves at all times.
• Monitor and report competitive activities and any deviations from agreed terms with assigned outlets.
• Submit daily activity reports to your supervisor, detailing the prior day’s tasks and outcomes.
• Participate in sampling and redemption campaigns as required to drive consumer engagement.
• Uphold professional behavior and appearance in alignment with PepsiCo’s code of conduct.

Your success in this role will be evaluated based on the following key performance indicators:

• Execution Standard: Consistently meeting merchandising and display standards.
• LTA (Local Trade Agreement) Enforcement: Ensuring compliance with all local trade agreements.
• Journey Plan Adherence: Completing assigned tasks and visiting designated outlets as scheduled.
