Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Analyst, Credit Advisory to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will play a central part in the structuring, launch, and management of credit funds and debt investment vehicles, while providing strategic support to sukuk issuance mandates. Your expertise in credit analysis, financial modeling, and regulatory compliance will be instrumental in driving the success of our credit advisory initiatives. Key Responsibilities

The Senior Analyst, Credit Advisory will be responsible for a diverse range of duties, including:

  • Credit Fund Management:
    • Lead the structuring, launch, and registration of credit funds and debt investment vehicles, collaborating closely with legal, compliance, and the Capital Market Authority (CMA) to ensure seamless execution.
    • Develop comprehensive fund documentation, including terms and conditions, investor presentations, and marketing materials tailored to credit funds.
    • Conduct rigorous credit analysis and due diligence on prospective fund opportunities, encompassing financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, and collateral assessment.
    • Monitor the performance of credit funds and underlying loan portfolios, tracking covenant compliance, repayment schedules, and early warning indicators to mitigate risks.
    • Prepare and present periodic performance reports, valuation updates, and investor reporting packages to stakeholders.
    • Assist in structuring credit facilities, including pricing, covenants, and security packages, to optimize fund performance.
    • Support fundraising initiatives by preparing pitch materials and coordinating with prospective investors to secure capital commitments.
    • Liaise with external stakeholders such as auditors, fund administrators, custodians, legal counsel, and rating agencies to ensure operational and regulatory alignment.
    • Manage regulatory filings and approvals, including CMA licensing and registration requirements, to maintain compliance with local regulations.
    • Collaborate with the investment committee and senior management to inform credit approvals and portfolio decisions.
    • Stay abreast of market developments, credit trends, and regulatory changes impacting the private credit sector in Saudi Arabia.
  • Sukuk Issuance Support:
    • Provide secondary support to the credit advisory team on sukuk issuance mandates, complementing primary responsibilities related to credit funds.
    • Assist with issuer due diligence, financial analysis, and the preparation of information memoranda and offering documents for sukuk transactions.
    • Coordinate with legal counsel, arrangers, rating agencies, and the CMA to facilitate sukuk structuring and regulatory approvals.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field. Professional qualifications such as a CFA are highly desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3–4 years of relevant experience in credit analysis, private credit/debt investing, corporate banking, or credit advisory.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Strong credit analysis and financial modeling skills, with a deep understanding of loan structuring and credit documentation.
    • Familiarity with debt fund structures and the regulatory framework of the Capital Market Authority (CMA) in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
  • Core Competencies:
    • Demonstrated ability to maintain the highest standards of business ethics and professionalism in a challenging work environment.
    • Exceptional analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Proficiency in CME1 and CME4 examinations is a plus.
