Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SME Broker Management professional to join our dynamic team at Bupa Arabia in Riyadh. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our broker relationships, ensuring seamless collaboration with Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) clients. Your expertise will drive the growth of our broker network, enhance client satisfaction, and contribute to the overall success of our business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Broker Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term partnerships with SME brokers to foster trust and mutual growth. Act as the primary point of contact for broker inquiries, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
• Network Expansion & Development: Identify and onboard new SME brokers to expand our market reach. Conduct market research to assess broker performance, market trends, and competitive landscape, ensuring alignment with Bupa Arabia’s strategic goals.
• Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track and analyze broker performance metrics, including sales targets, client acquisition rates, and service quality. Generate detailed reports to present insights to senior management and recommend data-driven strategies for improvement.
• Training & Support: Organize and deliver training sessions and workshops to enhance brokers’ product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills. Provide ongoing support to ensure brokers are equipped to meet client needs effectively.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all broker activities comply with regulatory requirements and Bupa Arabia’s internal policies. Mitigate risks by monitoring broker conduct and addressing any deviations from established standards.
• Client-Centric Approach: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and underwriting, to deliver tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of SME clients. Actively seek feedback from brokers to identify opportunities for service enhancement.
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of broker management strategies that align with Bupa Arabia’s business objectives. Participate in strategic meetings to present insights and recommendations for optimizing broker performance and profitability.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CII, ACII) is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in broker management, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector. Proven track record in managing SME broker networks and driving sales growth.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and data analytics tools. Strong understanding of insurance products, underwriting principles, and regulatory frameworks.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Arabic is essential. Additional languages are a valuable asset.
