Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Driving Instructor to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to promote and ensure accident-free defensive driving practices among all users of company vehicles and Material Handling Equipment (MHE). This will be achieved through meticulous staff selection, comprehensive induction programs, rigorous assessments, and continuous training and development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Training and Development: Deliver high-quality MHE training programs to enhance operational safety and efficiency.
• Staff Selection and Induction: Conduct trade tests for new employees as part of the selection process to ensure they meet the required driving standards.
• Induction Control: Oversee the induction of all new drivers and MHE operators, ensuring that the induction process is completed effectively before authorizing the operation of poultry vehicles.
• Certification and Compliance: Maintain up-to-date certifications and ensure adherence to all regulatory and company safety standards.
• Communication and Reporting: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to effectively convey training materials and report on progress.
• Personal Attributes: Exhibit a proactive approach with a strong focus on planning, alignment, and effective communication. Possess self-awareness, technical knowledge, and operational expertise to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience as a Driving and MHE Instructor.
• Certified as a Driving Instructor.
• Proven ability to conduct trade tests and assessments.
• Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated proficiency in planning, alignment, and effective communication.
• Possess self-awareness, technical knowledge, and operational expertise.
