Field Specialist - Artificial Lift

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Specialist - Artificial Lift to join our dynamic team in Dhahran. In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support, installation, maintenance, and optimization of artificial lift systems for our clients in the oil and gas industry. Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of these systems, contributing directly to the productivity and success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Expertise: Deliver specialized technical support and troubleshooting for artificial lift systems, including but not limited to sucker rod pumps, electric submersible pumps (ESPs), progressing cavity pumps (PCPs), and gas lift systems.
• System Installation & Commissioning: Oversee the installation, commissioning, and startup of artificial lift systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards, safety protocols, and client specifications.
• Maintenance & Optimization: Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and performance evaluations to identify opportunities for system optimization, reliability enhancement, and cost reduction.
• Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients, engineers, and field teams to understand operational challenges, provide tailored solutions, and ensure seamless project execution.
• Safety & Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of safety, environmental stewardship, and regulatory compliance in all field activities, including risk assessments and incident reporting.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed technical reports, maintenance logs, and performance analyses to track system efficiency, recommend improvements, and support data-driven decision-making.
• Training & Knowledge Transfer: Provide on-site training and guidance to client personnel and junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related technical field. Advanced degrees or certifications in artificial lift systems are advantageous.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in artificial lift systems, with a proven track record in field operations, troubleshooting, and system optimization within the oil and gas sector.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of artificial lift technologies, including system design, installation, and operational best practices. Familiarity with industry software tools for performance monitoring and analysis is preferred.
• Safety & Compliance: Strong commitment to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and operational integrity. Certification in HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently in remote locations and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is desirable.

Location & Travel
