Key Responsibilities

As our IT Specialist, your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of technical and operational duties, including but not limited to:

• Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Stay ahead of technological advancements to recommend and implement upgrades that enhance efficiency.
• Technical Support: Provide proactive first- and second-line technical support to end-users, resolving issues efficiently and ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations. Act as a trusted advisor to staff, offering guidance on IT best practices and emerging technologies.
• User and Access Management: Oversee user account provisioning, access permissions, and device deployment to maintain a secure and streamlined IT environment. Collaborate with teams to align user access with organizational policies and workflow requirements.
• Incident Response and Monitoring: Monitor system performance, proactively identify potential issues, and resolve incidents with urgency and precision. Implement robust monitoring tools to ensure real-time visibility into system health and performance metrics.
• Cybersecurity Compliance: Develop, implement, and enforce IT security policies and best practices to safeguard our digital assets. Stay vigilant against emerging cyber threats and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Vendor Coordination: Partner with external vendors and service providers to source, negotiate, and manage IT solutions. Ensure vendor deliverables align with our strategic objectives and operational needs.
• Documentation and Process Improvement: Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, procedures, and assets to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuity. Continuously evaluate and refine IT processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.

Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for a candidate who possesses a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a customer-centric mindset. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a significant advantage.
• Experience: Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in IT support, administration, or a related domain. Experience in a corporate or enterprise environment is highly preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of operating systems, including Windows and macOS, as well as proficiency in networking fundamentals. Strong working knowledge of cloud services, particularly Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, is essential.
• Cybersecurity Awareness: Familiarity with cybersecurity fundamentals, including endpoint protection, access control, and threat mitigation strategies. Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and end-users.
• Language: Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in Arabic is advantageous and will be highly valued in our Riyadh office.
• Certifications: Relevant industry certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or Cisco certifications, are a strong asset and will be recognized in the hiring process.
