Safety Officer

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Saudi Safety Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of relevant experience in safety protocols, hazard mitigation, and compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. This role is critical to maintaining a secure and compliant work environment, ensuring the well-being of our workforce and adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.
• Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures in alignment with local and international regulations.
• Provide safety training and awareness programs to employees, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
• Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, or near-misses to determine root causes and recommend preventive actions.
• Monitor compliance with safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to emergency protocols.
• Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to integrate safety best practices into daily operations.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incident reports for audits and regulatory reviews.
• Stay updated on evolving safety standards, industry trends, and regulatory changes to ensure continuous improvement in safety measures.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a safety-related role within a corporate or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of local and international safety regulations, including OSHA, NEBOSH, or equivalent standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and engage employees at all levels.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risks and implement practical solutions.
• Proficiency in safety management systems and tools for reporting and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
