Manager - Technical Infrastructure Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Manager - Technical Infrastructure Specialist to oversee and elevate our enterprise IT infrastructure operations in Riyadh, KSA. This pivotal role demands a strategic leader with deep technical acumen, operational excellence, and a forward-thinking mindset to drive innovation through AI and Agentic AI adoption in IT operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the high availability, reliability, and security of our infrastructure while fostering continuous improvement and automation to enhance operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will lead and manage a comprehensive portfolio of IT infrastructure domains, including:

• Data Center Infrastructure: Oversee the operational readiness, performance, and reliability of enterprise data centers to meet business demands.
• Server & Virtualization Platforms: Manage server infrastructure, virtualization environments, and ensure optimal performance, capacity, and uptime.
• Network Infrastructure: Lead the administration of LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and SD-WAN networks, ensuring seamless connectivity and robust performance.
• Linux & Unix Platforms: Provide expert oversight of Linux and Unix-based systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance optimization.
• Deskside Support Services: Direct end-user support operations to ensure timely resolution of technical issues and high user satisfaction.
• Security Operations Center (SOC) & Network Operations Center (NOC): Lead proactive monitoring, incident response, and threat mitigation to maintain a secure and resilient IT environment.
• Storage and Backup: Manage enterprise storage solutions and backup strategies to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.

The role also encompasses:

• Service Delivery & SLA Management: Establish and maintain service levels aligned with business requirements, ensuring adherence to ITIL best practices and service management processes. Monitor and achieve SLA, OLA, KPI, and uptime targets through robust operational dashboards and executive reporting.
• Incident & Problem Management: Lead major incident resolution and service restoration activities, conducting thorough root cause analysis to prevent recurrence and drive continuous improvement.
• Risk & Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies, mitigating risks associated with IT infrastructure operations.
• Automation & AI Integration: Drive the adoption of automation and AI-enabled solutions to enhance operational efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and improve service delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess:

• Minimum 12-13 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a proven track record of leading teams of 25+ members across diverse technologies, including helpdesk, server, network, and cloud environments.
• Strong expertise in ITIL and ISO processes, with a deep understanding of service management frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Core technical proficiency in at least two critical infrastructure domains, such as server administration, networking, or Linux/Unix platforms.
• Experience with automation and AI concepts, including the implementation of AI-driven solutions to optimize IT operations.
• Risk and compliance management skills to ensure adherence to organizational policies and regulatory standards.
• Service improvement planning capabilities to drive continuous enhancement of infrastructure services.

Preferred Candidates: Professionals with prior experience in leading IT infrastructure teams within renowned IT service companies such as Wipro, Cognizant, LTI, or similar organizations are highly encouraged to apply.

Work Location & Requirements

This is an onsite, long-term position based in Riyadh, KSA. Candidates must currently reside in KSA and be available to join immediately. Preference will be given to Indian nationals currently employed in the Kingdom.
