Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT/OT Supervisor to oversee and manage our organization’s integrated IT and operational technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will provide expert technical support, network administration, and security management while ensuring seamless collaboration across all levels of the organization. This role demands a proactive professional with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service, maintaining robust network performance, and resolving complex technical challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
The IT/OT Supervisor will be responsible for a wide range of technical and administrative duties, including:
- Network Administration and Security: Managing and maintaining Windows LANs, including workstations, servers, print servers, hubs, and cabling for the head office. Implementing file system security, fault tolerance, and access rights for various staff levels. Configuring remote site connections and setting up dynamic report schedulers to streamline operations.
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Collaborating with the corporate IS/IT support team to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues. Providing end-user support for standalone computers, LAN/WAN settings, and software/hardware configurations. Conducting software application training and ensuring timely resolution of network problems, including login and IP address issues.
- System and Infrastructure Management: Administering over 225 user accounts, configuring and implementing Windows workstations, and managing a corporate enterprise backup system. Maintaining and troubleshooting lease lines across LAN and WAN, as well as fiber optic networks. Ensuring the integrity and security of servers, including Exchange, ISA, and Novell Netware environments.
- Inventory and Asset Management: Overseeing the inventory of all servers and PCs (including HP, IBM, Sony, Dell, and Toshiba models), as well as printers and scanners. Ensuring accurate documentation and tracking of IT assets to support operational efficiency.
- Policy Development and Strategic Planning: Formulating IT policies, objectives, and strategies in alignment with organizational goals. Participating in annual business planning and budgeting processes to optimize IT resource allocation and performance.
Required Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Education: An Associate Degree in Computer Technology or a related field.
- Experience: Over 7 years of diversified IT experience, including networking, administration, documentation, and IT policy development.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Operating Systems: Proficiency in Microsoft Windows (9x/NT/2000/ME/XP/Vista/Win7), Office suites (XP/2000/2003/2007), MS Project, and MS Visio.
- Networking: Expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Server environments (2000, 2003, 2008), Cisco routers, SonicWALL firewalls, ISA proxy servers, and Exchange Server. Knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, WINS, HTTP/HTTPS, and network security tools such as TVD, OfficeScan, and Kaspersky.
- Hardware and Devices: Skilled in the installation, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of PCs, HDDs, CPUs, motherboards, expansion cards, printers, and removable drives.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. A positive attitude and a strong commitment to providing exceptional client service.
- Languages: Fluency in both English and Arabic.
- Training: Completion of relevant courses in networking, IT equipment maintenance, and security.

Reporting and Collaboration
This role involves close collaboration with the Executive Managing Officer, Technical Director, Discipline Managers, Finance, and Administration teams. The IT/OT Supervisor will also engage with external partners, including IT suppliers, internet service providers, and STC, to ensure seamless operations and service delivery.
