We are seeking an accomplished Expert Frontend Engineer to serve as a senior technical authority in frontend engineering. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing sophisticated, scalable frontend solutions while establishing and upholding engineering standards, performance benchmarks, quality metrics, and technical excellence across our digital applications. Key Responsibilities

As the Expert Frontend Engineer, you will lead the technical vision and execution of frontend development initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:

• Technical Leadership: Act as the senior technical authority for frontend engineering, providing guidance and direction to ensure alignment with best practices and industry standards across both web and mobile platforms.
• Architecture and Design: Design and implement complex, scalable frontend architectures using React (web) and React Native (mobile). Define engineering standards, reusable components, and shared design systems to foster consistency and efficiency.
• Cross-Platform Strategy: Own the cross-platform code sharing strategy to maximize reuse between web and mobile applications, ensuring a cohesive user experience while optimizing development efforts.
• Feature Development and Modernization: Lead the technical implementation of complex features and modernization initiatives, driving innovation and enhancing the functionality of our digital products.
• Mobile Release Engineering: Oversee mobile release engineering processes, including native build configuration and compliance with App Store and Google Play requirements to ensure timely and successful deployments.
• Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of complex code and technical designs to ensure architectural alignment, code quality, and adherence to established standards.
• Performance and Accessibility: Drive continuous improvements in performance, accessibility, security, and maintainability across all platforms, ensuring our applications meet the highest standards of usability and compliance.
• Security Implementation: Apply and enforce client-side security requirements, including authentication protocols, session handling, and protection of sensitive data to safeguard user information and maintain trust.
• Issue Resolution: Address critical and device-specific production issues with urgency and precision, minimizing downtime and ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Integration and Collaboration: Facilitate effective integration between frontend applications, APIs, and backend services to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
• Technology Evaluation: Assess and recommend frontend technologies, frameworks, and engineering approaches to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
• Mentorship and Leadership: Mentor frontend engineers, raising the technical bar across the team and fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
• Enterprise Contributions: Contribute to enterprise-wide engineering and architecture initiatives, shaping the strategic direction of frontend technologies and their alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required. A Master’s Degree is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on frontend engineering experience, with a proven track record in senior or lead technical roles.
• Technical Expertise: Deep proficiency in React and React Native, along with strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern state management solutions.
• Mobile Development: Demonstrated experience in delivering production-ready mobile applications, including expertise in native tooling such as Xcode and Android Studio, as well as managing App Store and Google Play releases.
• Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in payments, banking, or regulated financial services is highly desirable.
• Professional Development: Relevant professional certifications are a plus.
