• Architect and Govern Integration Frameworks: Lead the design of scalable, resilient integration architectures that connect disparate systems, APIs, and external services, ensuring seamless data flow and operational efficiency.
• Define Industry-Leading Standards: Establish and enforce integration standards, protocols, and best practices to maintain consistency, security, and performance across the enterprise.
• Technical Leadership for Critical Integrations: Take ownership of high-impact integrations with partners, schemes, and internal platforms, ensuring timely and flawless execution.
• Mastery of Integration Technologies: Leverage your deep expertise in IBM integration tools (IBM ACE, API Connect, MQ) and event streaming platforms (Kafka) to build and optimize integration pipelines.
• API Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire API lifecycle, including versioning, gateway policies, and consumer onboarding, ensuring APIs are secure, performant, and aligned with business needs.
• Security and Compliance: Implement robust security controls—such as mTLS, certificate management, encryption, and secure key handling—to safeguard partner connectivity while adhering to regulatory and audit requirements.
• Troubleshooting and Optimization: Diagnose and resolve complex integration issues across system boundaries, optimizing performance, reliability, monitoring, and error handling to minimize downtime and technical debt.
• Risk and Dependency Management: Identify integration risks, dependencies, and technical debt, proposing actionable improvements to enhance system resilience and scalability.
• Mentorship and Innovation: Mentor junior engineers and contribute to enterprise-wide integration architecture initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
