Reporting to senior Enterprise Applications leadership, you will serve as the pivotal bridge between IT innovation and business imperatives, ensuring seamless integration, compliance, and scalability of our EMR ecosystem. Your responsibilities will span the entire spectrum of healthcare application domains, including Patient Administration Systems (PAS), Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), and Health Information Management (HIM), while overseeing third-party clinical applications and medical device integrations. As the senior escalation point, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across Patient Access, Revenue Cycle, Billing, Health Information Management, and Clinical Operations, fostering alignment and driving data-driven decision-making.

In this dynamic role, you will lead a high-performing team of application analysts and specialists, fostering a culture of innovation and operational excellence. Your strategic vision will ensure that our EMR environment remains stable, secure, compliant, and optimized to meet the evolving demands of Saudi healthcare regulations, including PDPL, NPHIES, CBAHI, MOH, and CHI standards. You will also champion digital transformation initiatives, enhancing workflow efficiency and clinical outcomes through advanced reporting, dashboards, and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Translate departmental strategy into actionable plans, ensuring the EMR portfolio aligns with clinical, operational, and business objectives across diverse healthcare facilities.
• Application Governance: Oversee the management of PAS, RCM, and HIM systems, optimizing workflows for patient registration, ADT, scheduling, billing, claims, medical records, and clinical documentation to enhance patient care and revenue cycle performance.
• Integration Excellence: Lead the integration of critical healthcare applications, including LIS, PACS/Radiology, Pharmacy, NPHIES, patient portals, and medical devices, ensuring seamless interoperability through HL7, FHIR, and API-based solutions.
• Operational Resilience: Drive application support, incident management, SLA monitoring, change management, and release cycles to maintain a high-performing, low-risk EMR environment.
• Data-Driven Insights: Develop and oversee operational, clinical, and revenue-cycle reports, dashboards, and KPIs to empower stakeholders with actionable intelligence.
• Compliance and Security: Ensure adherence to Saudi healthcare regulations, data protection laws, and interoperability standards, safeguarding patient data and system integrity.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, third-party vendors, and technology partners to drive cross-functional alignment and innovation.
• Team Development: Mentor and lead the Business Applications/EMR team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
• Cross-Site Coordination: Standardize EMR configurations and coordinate efforts across multiple healthcare facilities to ensure consistency and scalability.

This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with 10+ years of experience in EMR/EHR environments, particularly within hospital or healthcare settings. Your expertise should include Patient Administration Systems, Revenue Cycle Management, Health Information Management, and healthcare application integrations, with a strong preference for experience with InterSystems TrakCare. Proficiency in HL7, FHIR, and healthcare data governance is essential, along with a deep understanding of Saudi healthcare insurance processes (NPHIES) and regulatory compliance. Your ability to balance technical precision with strategic foresight will be instrumental in elevating our organization’s digital healthcare capabilities.
