Key Responsibilities

As a Food & Beverage Waiter/Waitress, your primary responsibility will be to provide attentive and personalized service to guests in our restaurants, lounges, or banquet settings. Your duties will include:

• Guest Interaction: Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and present menus with detailed explanations of dishes, beverages, and special recommendations. Anticipate and respond promptly to guest needs to enhance their dining experience.
• Order Taking & Service: Accurately take food and beverage orders, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen and bar staff. Serve dishes and beverages with precision, adhering to presentation and timing standards to maintain consistency and quality.
• Table Management: Efficiently manage multiple tables, ensuring tables are set according to Hilton’s standards, cleared promptly, and reset for the next guests. Maintain a clean and organized dining environment at all times.
• Upselling & Revenue Contribution: Proactively recommend premium menu items, beverages, or special promotions to enhance guest satisfaction and contribute to the outlet’s revenue targets. Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu offerings, pricing, and seasonal specials.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to ensure smooth operations and timely service delivery. Participate in pre-shift meetings to stay informed about daily specials, events, or operational updates.
• Compliance & Standards: Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols in accordance with Hilton’s global standards and local regulations. Ensure compliance with all health and safety guidelines to maintain a secure and hygienic environment for guests and staff.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality or food service industry, preferably in a luxury or upscale environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage guests in a friendly, professional, and culturally sensitive manner.
• A strong work ethic, characterized by reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• The ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and composed demeanor under pressure.
• Fluency in English is essential; additional languages, particularly Arabic, are highly advantageous in Jeddah’s diverse guest demographic.
