Key Responsibilities

As a Waitstaff member at CORE Life Hospitality, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Guest Interaction: Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and present menus while providing knowledgeable recommendations based on their preferences.
• Order Taking: Accurately take food and beverage orders, ensuring all dietary restrictions or special requests are noted and communicated to the kitchen staff promptly.
• Service Excellence: Deliver high-quality, attentive service throughout the dining experience, from initial seating to final checkout, ensuring guest satisfaction at every stage.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other team members to ensure seamless service and efficient order fulfillment.
• Upselling and Revenue Generation: Promote menu items, specials, and beverages to enhance guest experience while contributing to the establishment’s revenue goals.
• Maintaining Standards: Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation in all areas of service, including tables, dining areas, and service stations.
• Problem Resolution: Address guest concerns or complaints professionally and promptly, ensuring a positive resolution to maintain guest loyalty.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Excellent multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the capacity to work efficiently under pressure.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic cash handling procedures is advantageous.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift trays or heavy items, and move quickly between stations.
• A positive attitude, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
