Senior Network Engineer – Lead Enterprise IT Infrastructure & AI-Driven Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Senior Network Engineer to oversee and optimize our enterprise IT infrastructure operations across Data Center (Azure and On-Premises) and Network Infrastructure environments. This pivotal role demands a seasoned professional with extensive technical expertise, strong leadership acumen, and a strategic mindset to drive innovation through AI, Generative AI, and Agentic AI-enabled IT Operations.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring infrastructure availability, service reliability, SLA compliance, security, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across complex enterprise environments. This position is critical for maintaining high-performance IT operations and supporting the organization’s digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Operations Leadership

You will lead the end-to-end operations of:

• Data Center Infrastructure (Azure & On-Premises)
• Network Infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN)

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring high availability, performance, scalability, and reliability of infrastructure services
• Managing proactive monitoring, incident management, problem management, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Maintaining operational readiness and capacity planning for critical systems

Service Delivery & Operations Management

You will establish and maintain service levels aligned with business requirements, including:

• Monitoring and achieving SLA, OLA, KPI, and uptime targets
• Leading major incident management and service restoration activities
• Ensuring adherence to ITIL processes and service management best practices
• Driving operational governance and continuous service improvement initiatives

Security & Compliance Oversight

You will ensure that enterprise infrastructure complies with security and regulatory requirements by:

• Implementing and maintaining network security controls, access management, and infrastructure hardening
• Supporting disaster recovery, business continuity, and risk mitigation strategies

Stakeholder & Customer Management

You will act as the primary interface between business stakeholders, customers, and infrastructure teams, including:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and senior leadership
• Presenting operational reviews, service reports, and improvement plans to executive stakeholders
• Managing escalations effectively and ensuring high customer satisfaction

Team Leadership & Development

You will lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary infrastructure teams by:

• Managing workforce planning, performance management, coaching, and succession planning
• Fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence

AI & Automation Transformation

You will drive the adoption of AI, Generative AI, and Agentic AI technologies within IT Operations, including:

• Identifying automation opportunities across infrastructure and support processes
• Implementing AI-driven monitoring, analytics, predictive operations, and self-healing capabilities
• Improving operational efficiency and productivity through automation initiatives

Continuous Improvement & Digital Transformation

You will lead infrastructure modernization and digital transformation programs by:

• Implementing best practices in observability, monitoring, reliability engineering, and cloud operations
• Supporting cloud migration and hybrid infrastructure transformation initiatives
• Driving process optimization and continuous service improvement

Vendor & Financial Management

You will manage technology vendors, service providers, and support partners, including participation in:

• Budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Requirements:

• 15+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure and Network Operations
• 5+ years in leadership or managerial roles managing large-scale infrastructure teams
• Proven experience working within Managed Services or large enterprise environments
• Fluency in Arabic (mandatory) and English (mandatory)

Preferred Candidates:

• Saudi Nationals or Arabic-speaking candidates from any nationality
• Candidates from other nationalities are welcome, provided they are fluent in Arabic and English

Work Arrangement & Location

Location: Saudi Arabia (Onsite)
