Key Responsibilities

The Senior Product Specialist - Fasenra will play a critical role in executing product strategies, ensuring alignment between clinical evidence and market needs. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Product Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive product strategies to maximize the adoption and utilization of Fasenra in the Saudi market, in collaboration with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and medical affairs.
• Market Insights & Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, providing actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and payers to drive product awareness, education, and adoption. Represent AstraZeneca at medical conferences, advisory boards, and scientific meetings.
• Training & Development: Design and deliver high-impact training programs for internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure a deep understanding of Fasenra’s clinical benefits, positioning, and differentiation in the market.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze product performance metrics, including sales data, market share, and physician feedback, to assess the effectiveness of strategies and recommend adjustments as needed.
• Regulatory & Compliance: Ensure all product-related activities comply with local regulations, ethical standards, and AstraZeneca’s internal policies, maintaining the highest levels of integrity and transparency.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, you will bring a blend of scientific expertise, commercial acumen, and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will possess:

• A bachelor’s degree in a scientific or healthcare-related field (e.g., Pharmacy, Medicine, or Life Sciences); a master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with a strong focus on respiratory products or specialty care.
• Proven track record in product management, market access, or medical affairs, with a deep understanding of the Saudi healthcare landscape.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, including KOLs, payers, and internal teams.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English; fluency in additional languages is advantageous.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the capacity to influence and drive change in a matrix organization.
