Community Engagement Manager – Riyadh

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Community Engagement Manager to join our team in Riyadh. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for fostering meaningful connections between our organization and the communities we serve, driving engagement, and enhancing our brand presence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in community relations, stakeholder management, and strategic communication, with a passion for building and sustaining long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Community Outreach and Engagement: Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to engage with local communities, ensuring our initiatives align with their needs and priorities. This includes organizing events, workshops, and forums to facilitate dialogue and collaboration.
• Stakeholder Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, non-profit organizations, business leaders, and community representatives. Act as a liaison to ensure our organization’s interests are represented while fostering mutual trust and cooperation.
• Strategic Communication: Craft and disseminate clear, compelling messaging to both internal and external audiences to promote our community engagement efforts. Leverage digital platforms, social media, and traditional media channels to amplify our reach and impact.
• Program Development and Management: Design, oversee, and evaluate community-focused programs and initiatives that drive positive social impact. Monitor progress, measure outcomes, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve desired results.
• Crisis and Issue Management: Anticipate potential challenges and proactively address community concerns or conflicts. Develop robust crisis communication plans to mitigate reputational risks and maintain stakeholder confidence.
• Collaboration and Partnership Building: Identify and forge strategic partnerships with local and international organizations to enhance our community engagement efforts. Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate community perspectives into business strategies.
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare detailed reports on community engagement activities, stakeholder feedback, and program outcomes. Utilize data-driven insights to refine strategies and demonstrate the value of our initiatives to leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Social Sciences, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certification in community engagement, stakeholder management, or a similar discipline is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in community engagement, public relations, corporate social responsibility (CSR), or a related field. Experience in the real estate, facilities management, or corporate sector is highly desirable.
• Skills:
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a results-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in strategic planning, stakeholder analysis, and program evaluation.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and community engagement software.
  • Cultural sensitivity and the ability to navigate complex social and political landscapes.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is required; additional languages are a valuable asset.
