Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Team Manager - DQA (Manufacturing) to join our dynamic team at Almarai, a leading company in the food and beverage industry. Key Responsibilities

• Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of quality assurance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. Ensure the team is aligned with organizational goals and equipped to meet performance targets.
• Quality Assurance Oversight: Develop, implement, and maintain robust quality control systems and procedures to uphold the highest standards of product integrity, safety, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Monitor and evaluate manufacturing processes to identify and mitigate risks proactively.
• Process Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to streamline quality assurance processes, reduce waste, and enhance overall manufacturing efficiency. Drive initiatives that improve product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local and international quality standards, such as ISO, HACCP, and other relevant certifications. Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret quality data to generate actionable insights. Prepare comprehensive reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, trends, and areas for improvement. Utilize data-driven decision-making to enhance quality outcomes.
• Training and Development: Identify training needs within the team and provide ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance technical skills and leadership capabilities. Foster a culture of learning and innovation within the quality assurance department.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between the quality assurance team and other departments, including production, logistics, and R&D. Ensure clear communication of quality standards, expectations, and feedback to all stakeholders involved in the manufacturing process.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., ASQ, ISO Lead Auditor) is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in quality assurance, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or supervisory role within the manufacturing sector. Experience in the food and beverage industry is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in quality management systems, statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and risk assessment methodologies. Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools is a plus.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, drive performance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are essential.
• Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of local and international quality standards, food safety regulations, and compliance requirements. Ability to interpret and apply regulatory guidelines effectively.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information clearly and concisely. Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills are advantageous.
