Key Responsibilities

As a Process Governance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing end-to-end business processes to ensure they meet regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and organizational goals. Your core duties will include:

• Process Design and Optimization: Develop, document, and refine processes to enhance productivity, reduce inefficiencies, and align with Almarai’s operational strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement sustainable solutions.
• Governance and Compliance: Establish and maintain governance frameworks that ensure adherence to internal policies, industry regulations, and international standards. Monitor compliance through audits, risk assessments, and performance metrics, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
• Change Management: Lead initiatives to drive process changes, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to operations. Act as a change agent by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a liaison between senior leadership, department heads, and operational teams to align process governance with business objectives. Facilitate communication and collaboration to ensure all stakeholders are informed and engaged in governance initiatives.
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of process governance initiatives. Prepare comprehensive reports for management, highlighting progress, challenges, and recommendations for further enhancement.
• Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to upskill employees on process governance principles, tools, and methodologies. Foster a culture of accountability and ownership among team members to ensure sustained process excellence.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma, or COBIT) is a plus.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in process governance, business process management (BPM), or operational excellence, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing governance frameworks, including experience with compliance frameworks such as ISO, HACCP, or other industry-specific standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Proficiency in Arabic and English is required.
• Familiarity with digital transformation tools and technologies, such as process automation platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Power Platform), is highly desirable.
