Manager - Technical Infrastructure Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Manager - Technical Infrastructure Specialist to lead and oversee the comprehensive IT infrastructure operations for a leading enterprise in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). This pivotal role demands a highly skilled professional with extensive technical expertise, operational leadership, and a strategic vision to drive innovation and efficiency in IT infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of enterprise infrastructure services, including Data Center operations, Server & Virtualization platforms, Network Infrastructure, Linux/Unix platforms, Deskside Support, Security Operations Center (SOC), Network Operations Center (NOC), and Storage & Backup solutions.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring high availability, service reliability, and compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This position requires a forward-thinking leader capable of leveraging emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Agentic AI to enhance operational efficiencies and drive automation across IT infrastructure. The role is based in Riyadh, KSA, and is a long-term, onsite opportunity designed for professionals who are currently residing and working in the region.

Key Responsibilities

The Manager - Technical Infrastructure Specialist will oversee and manage the following critical functions:

• Infrastructure Delivery Management:
  • Lead the end-to-end operations of enterprise IT infrastructure, including Data Center Infrastructure, Server & Virtualization Platforms, Network Infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN), Linux & Unix Platforms, Deskside Support Services, SOC, NOC, Storage, and Backup systems.
  • Ensure the operational readiness, availability, and reliability of enterprise infrastructure to meet business demands.
  • Drive proactive monitoring, incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis to minimize downtime and enhance system performance.
  • Maintain optimal system uptime, performance, capacity, and reliability through continuous assessment and improvement initiatives.
• Service Delivery & SLA Management:
  • Establish and maintain service levels that align with business requirements and strategic objectives.
  • Monitor and achieve SLA, Operational Level Agreement (OLA), Key Performance Indicator (KPI), and uptime targets consistently.
  • Lead major incident management and service restoration activities to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Develop and maintain operational dashboards and executive reports to provide transparency and insights into service performance.
  • Ensure adherence to ITIL best practices and service management processes to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
• Strategic Leadership & Innovation:
  • Champion the adoption of AI and Agentic AI technologies to automate IT operations and improve service delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance infrastructure performance, security, and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT infrastructure strategies with business goals and technological advancements.
• Risk & Compliance Management:
  • Implement and maintain robust risk management and compliance frameworks to ensure adherence to regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Develop and execute service improvement plans to address gaps and enhance operational maturity.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Must Have:
  • Minimum of 12-13 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Proven track record of managing teams of 25+ members across multiple technologies, including helpdesk, server, network, and cloud environments.
  • Strong expertise in ITIL and ISO processes, with a deep understanding of service management frameworks and best practices.
  • Core technical expertise in at least two critical IT infrastructure domains, such as networking, servers, Linux/Unix platforms, or cybersecurity.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools and AI-driven technologies to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
  • In-depth knowledge of risk and compliance management, including data protection, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in developing and executing service improvement plans to drive operational excellence.
• Good to Have:
  • Prior experience working with reputable IT service companies such as Wipro, Cognizant, LTI, or similar organizations.

• Indian nationality with current work authorization in KSA.
• Minimum of 12-13 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure management.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills to engage with senior leadership and business stakeholders.
• Commitment to driving innovation, automation, and AI adoption in IT operations.
