• Comprehensive Clinical Care: Conduct virtual dermatology consultations using advanced telehealth platforms, including video and image-based assessments, to diagnose and manage conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, infections, and hair/nail disorders. Handle dermatological emergencies and escalate critical cases as required. Develop and refine individualised treatment strategies, including both topical and systemic therapies, while ensuring adherence to strict prescribing protocols.
• Patient-Centred Consultations: Deliver clear, empathetic, and informative communication to patients regarding their diagnoses, treatment plans, and ongoing care. Provide counselling on disease management, treatment expectations, and skin care practices to enhance patient adherence and satisfaction.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of clinical governance by adhering to dermatology guidelines, ethical practices, and telehealth regulations. Actively participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and the development of updated clinical protocols. Report patient safety incidents and near misses promptly to ensure continuous enhancement of care delivery.
• Professional Growth and Mentorship: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in dermatology through continuous medical education (CME), workshops, and conferences. Engage in academic activities, case discussions, and collaborative learning to foster a culture of excellence. Support the training and supervision of junior medical staff, contributing to the development of the next generation of dermatology professionals.
• Digital Health and Telemedicine: Proficiency in teledermatology platforms is essential. Utilise secure, high-quality digital tools to conduct consultations, manage patient data, and maintain accurate records in compliance with data privacy regulations. Collaborate with IT teams to optimise workflows and enhance the efficiency of telehealth services.
• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with consultants, primary care physicians, pharmacists, and allied health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for patients with systemic or complex dermatological conditions. Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions to ensure holistic and integrated patient management.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this position, you will bring:

• A medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution, coupled with completion of dermatology residency or fellowship training.
• Registration and classification as a Registrar in Dermatology by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
• Strong clinical judgment and a keen diagnostic eye, with a preference for experience in teledermatology.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and digital health platforms, ensuring seamless integration into our telehealth services.
