We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer to lead the technical backbone of our operations. In this critical role, you will architect, maintain, and optimize our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment while ensuring seamless CI/CD pipelines, robust security, and compliance with regional regulations. Your Impact

As the guardian of our cloud infrastructure, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring reliability, security, and scalability across our platform. Your expertise will directly contribute to:

• Building and Scaling Cloud Infrastructure: Design, deploy, and manage our GCP environment—including compute, databases, storage, networking, and load balancing—while leveraging Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) to ensure reproducibility and version control. Implement robust backup, disaster recovery, and capacity planning strategies to safeguard mission-critical workloads.
• Automating and Optimizing CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain end-to-end deployment pipelines using Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI, containerizing services with Docker and orchestrating deployments with Kubernetes concepts. Introduce automated testing, staged rollouts, and zero-downtime strategies to accelerate delivery while minimizing risk.
• Enhancing Security and Compliance: Enforce least-privilege IAM policies, secure secrets management, and harden the environment with advanced networking controls, TLS, and Web Application Firewall (WAF) configurations. Conduct vulnerability assessments, dependency scans, and drive remediation efforts to maintain a resilient security posture. Ensure alignment with NCA cybersecurity controls and Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), while supporting audit readiness and incident response.
• Driving Operational Excellence: Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively detect and resolve issues. Optimize cloud spend through cost-tracking and resource allocation strategies, ensuring efficiency without compromising performance.
• Empowering the Team: Reduce manual processes, document workflows, and foster a culture of automation and best practices. Collaborate with engineering teams to refine architecture, improve reliability, and deliver a seamless user experience.

What You’ll Bring

We are looking for a results-driven DevOps engineer with a proven track record in cloud infrastructure and automation. Ideal candidates will possess:

• 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Platform Engineering, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Experience with AWS or Azure is a plus, provided you are eager to transition to GCP.
• Hands-on expertise in Linux administration, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or equivalent), and containerization (Docker), with familiarity in Kubernetes concepts and orchestration.
• Proven skills in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, including automated testing, staged deployments, and rollback strategies.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation, with experience in Bash and Python for infrastructure and operational tasks.
• Deep understanding of networking fundamentals, including VPC design, DNS, TLS, load balancing, and firewall rules, with a security-first mindset focused on least privilege, blast radius, and auditability.
• Operational familiarity with relational databases, including backup, restore, and performance optimization.
• Strong communication skills with excellent written and spoken English, coupled with a commitment to clear, well-documented processes.
• Bonus qualifications include:
• Working knowledge of NCA compliance frameworks and Saudi PDPL requirements.
• Google Cloud certifications such as Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, or Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
• Security certifications like CompTIA Security+, CySA+, or equivalent.
• Fluency in Arabic (a significant advantage in our regional market).
