System Security Analyst

Key Responsibilities

As a System Security Analyst, your core responsibilities will include:

• Security Solution Design and Implementation: Develop and deploy comprehensive security solutions tailored to diverse operational environments, including onshore, nearshore, and offshore capabilities, to ensure end-to-end protection.
• Governance and Compliance: Oversee the deployment and utilization of enterprise security tools, architecture frameworks, and solutions to maintain a robust security posture. Ensure alignment with organizational policies, risk frameworks, and compliance requirements.
• Digital Identity and Data Protection: Establish and maintain robust digital identity management systems, platform security protocols, data protection mechanisms, and artificial intelligence security frameworks. Additionally, you will be responsible for securing cloud-based environments to mitigate risks associated with cloud infrastructure.
• Security Operations Management: Design, implement, and manage Security Operations Centers (SOCs) to proactively detect, analyze, and respond to cyber threats. Your role will be critical in minimizing potential security incidents and ensuring rapid incident resolution.
• Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with leadership to align security strategies with enterprise goals, ensuring that security initiatives support broader business objectives while adhering to regulatory and compliance standards.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Core Requirements:
  • Mastery of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) and their application in real-world environments.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Security Architecture Design, with the ability to develop and implement scalable security solutions.
  • A minimum of one year of hands-on experience in relevant security domains, including but not limited to risk management, threat detection, or security operations.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
• Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points):
  • Advanced knowledge of risk assessment and mitigation techniques, including the ability to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective measures.
  • Intermediate skills in cybersecurity incident response, with experience in handling security breaches, conducting forensic analysis, and implementing remediation strategies.
  • Advanced understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements, such as GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, or other industry-specific standards.
  • Intermediate proficiency in cloud infrastructure security, including experience with platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and knowledge of cloud security best practices.
  • Beginner-level experience with threat intelligence analysis, including the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret threat data to inform security strategies.
