Key Responsibilities

As a Google Cloud Consultant, your core responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of technical and advisory functions, including:

• Solution Design and Implementation: Develop and deploy customized Google Cloud solutions that align with client business requirements, ensuring optimal performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability.
• Technical Guidance and Support: Provide expert advice to clients on GCP products, services, and best practices, facilitating seamless adoption and integration of cloud technologies.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, including developers, architects, and project managers, to ensure cohesive implementation and integration of cloud solutions across client environments.
• Infrastructure Assessment and Optimization: Conduct comprehensive audits of client GCP environments to identify inefficiencies, security vulnerabilities, or opportunities for enhancement, and recommend corrective actions.
• Continuous Learning and Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in Google Cloud Platform, including new services, features, and industry trends, to deliver cutting-edge solutions that drive client success.
• Client Education and Training: Empower client teams through tailored training sessions and workshops, enabling them to effectively utilize GCP tools and maximize their investment in cloud technologies.
• Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve technical challenges related to GCP infrastructure, applications, or services, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
• Documentation and Knowledge Management: Create and maintain detailed documentation for GCP solutions, processes, and configurations, fostering transparency and facilitating knowledge transfer.
• Client Engagement and Advocacy: Represent Nexttec Technology in client meetings and presentations, articulating the value proposition of GCP solutions and advocating for their adoption to drive business growth.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of three years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, including design, deployment, and management of cloud solutions.
• Certifications: Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Data Engineer) are highly desirable and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in the field.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of cloud computing principles, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS) models, with a focus on GCP-specific technologies.
• Migration and Deployment Expertise: Proven experience in cloud migration strategies, including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and refactoring, as well as deployment automation using tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset are essential.
• Analytical and Organizational Skills: Capacity to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality results within deadlines.
• Track Record of Success: Demonstrated experience in delivering successful GCP solutions for clients, with a focus on measurable business outcomes.
