Key Responsibilities

Clinical Assessment and Diagnosis

The Registrar – Cardiology is responsible for conducting thorough cardiovascular assessments, which include detailed patient histories, comprehensive physical examinations, and the review of diagnostic investigations. The Registrar collaborates closely with patients to establish realistic and achievable treatment goals, ensuring alignment with their preferences and clinical needs. The Registrar is also responsible for the appropriate management of pharmacological therapies, including patient education on medication adherence and potential side effects.
