Senior Project Manager

Role Overview

As a Senior Project Manager at Serviceplan Middle East, you will serve as the operational backbone of a high-impact transformation programme within a leading UAE-based bank. This role demands a strategic, hands-on approach to ensuring seamless execution across timelines, stakeholder management, and cross-functional workstreams, even amid shifting priorities and resistance. You will act as a decisive leader, driving accountability while maintaining alignment with business objectives and mitigating risks proactively. This is not a passive coordination position—you will engage directly with senior stakeholders, influence decision-making, and safeguard project integrity without defaulting to escalation for every challenge.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Programme Leadership: Oversee the entire programme lifecycle, including milestone tracking, dependency management, risk identification, decision documentation, and executive reporting to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Client-Facing Governance: Lead project governance structures, including status calls, steering committee preparations, and follow-through actions to maintain alignment with client expectations and business goals.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Navigate and reconcile priorities across diverse stakeholders—spanning marketing, IT, procurement, and C-suite leadership—while fostering collaboration and resolving conflicts efficiently.
• Scope Protection: Rigorously manage scope changes by documenting requests, assessing commercial implications, and enforcing agreed-upon boundaries to prevent scope creep and ensure delivery integrity.
• Cross-Team Synchronization: Align internal teams—including strategy, design, and technology—under a unified delivery cadence to optimize efficiency and minimize misalignment.
• High-Impact Deliverables: Produce clear, client-facing documentation such as status reports, decision logs, risk registers, and milestone trackers to facilitate informed decision-making and maintain stakeholder trust.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5–9 Years of Project/Programme Management: Demonstrated expertise in project or programme management within consulting, digital transformation, or agency environments, with a track record of delivering complex initiatives.
• Senior Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to engage and influence senior-level stakeholders, including IT and business leaders, in high-stakes transformation programmes.
• Conflict Resolution & Relationship Preservation: Skilled in navigating difficult conversations—both with clients and internal teams—while preserving professional relationships and driving constructive outcomes.
• Exceptional Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and run efficient, outcome-driven meetings.
• Transformation & Technology Expertise: Experience in transformation or technology delivery programmes, particularly in areas such as MarTech, CRM, AI, or digital transformation, is highly advantageous.
• Certifications (Preferred): PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certifications are a plus but not mandatory.
