Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for the following critical functions:

• Strategic Technology Deployment: Coordinate the local implementation of global technology projects, products, and services, ensuring alignment with the business priorities of the Greater Gulf region. Collaborate closely with global Tech Product and Service Owners to tailor solutions that meet regional needs while adhering to corporate standards.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Tech Enterprise Delivery and Global Digital Technology teams to plan, execute, and report on technology initiatives across the Greater Gulf. Facilitate seamless communication and alignment to ensure cohesive digital transformation efforts.
• On-Site Support and Vendor Management: Oversee local support operations and manage technology vendor performance to ensure compliance with global policies, contractual obligations, and service level agreements. Deliver a high-quality user experience that empowers employees to perform at their best.
• Digital-First Service Delivery: Lead initiatives to enhance automation, self-help capabilities, and user enablement programs. Foster a culture of digital proficiency, including the adoption of AI technologies and self-service tools, to drive efficiency and innovation.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Escalation: Act as the primary point of contact for technology-related incidents, requests, and needs from local stakeholders. Monitor service performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to maintain operational excellence.
• Budget and Resource Management: Manage local technology budgets, oversee real-estate technology requirements, and execute purchasing for digital equipment and services. Ensure cost-effective and strategic allocation of resources to support business objectives.
• Communication and Training: Develop and deliver local technology communications, awareness campaigns, and training sessions to keep users informed, engaged, and proficient in the latest digital tools and capabilities.

Your Profile: The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a seasoned technology leader with a proven track record in technology services delivery, preferably within large or complex organizations. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership acumen to drive digital transformation in a regulated and fast-paced environment. Key qualifications include:

• Experience: 10–15 years in Technology Services delivery, with a preference for roles in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry. A deep understanding of IT service management, digital transformation, and enterprise technology ecosystems is essential.
• Technical and Soft Skills:
  • Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of technologies, including Windows/M365, IT Service Management (ITSM), and Agile delivery tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Demonstrated leadership with a passion for innovation, adaptability, and a customer-first mindset.
  • Exceptional business acumen, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to thrive in matrix organizations and regulated environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Education and Certifications: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computer Science. ITIL Foundation v4 or equivalent certification is a strong differentiator.
• Languages: Fluency in English (oral and written) is required; proficiency in Arabic is a valuable asset.
