As the **Data Platform & Management Manager**, you will be responsible for steering the strategic direction of our data management and analytics platform departments. Your expertise will be instrumental in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence across teams. By acting as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, you will ensure that our data-driven initiatives are not only technically robust but also directly aligned with our organizational goals and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of strategic, operational, and leadership responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership & Governance: Collaborate closely with the Data Management Director to define a forward-thinking vision, goals, and roadmap for the data platform and analytics domains. Ensure compliance with Saudi government regulations, including SDAIA, NDMO, and NCA, while steering the implementation of robust governance frameworks across the enterprise. Stay ahead of evolving regulatory landscapes to maintain future-ready data management practices.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate seamless communication between technical teams (e.g., data engineers, analytics architects, and infrastructure specialists) and business stakeholders to drive impactful, data-driven decision-making. Align data platform initiatives with broader organizational objectives, ensuring they deliver tangible business outcomes.
• Strategic Planning & Roadmapping: Contribute to the design and execution of the department’s strategic roadmap, ensuring operational plans are aligned with key performance indicators (KPIs) and budgetary constraints. Lead the discovery and back-end requirements planning for analytics use cases, prioritizing initiatives that maximize value and scalability.
• Budget & Financial Oversight: Actively participate in the annual budgeting process, optimizing resource allocation to drive financial efficiency and mitigate risks. Provide transparent reporting on progress, challenges, and cost-saving strategies to senior leadership and the C-suite.
• Operational Leadership & Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of data engineers, analytics architects, and infrastructure specialists. Foster a culture of continuous learning through targeted training programs, career development initiatives, and performance coaching. Define clear career pathways and expectations to nurture talent and retain top performers.
• Performance & Conflict Resolution: Promote a high-performance work environment by addressing conflicts constructively and ensuring team members have the resources they need to succeed. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback to drive individual and team growth.
• C-Suite & Stakeholder Engagement: Present regular reports on data platform initiatives to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment with executive priorities. Compile and share productivity reports and project pipelines to keep stakeholders informed of progress and future directions.
• Talent Acquisition & Retention: Play a key role in recruiting, onboarding, and retaining top talent within the department. Implement strategies to attract skilled professionals who can contribute to the evolution of our data infrastructure.
