About the Role

HanmiGlobal Saudi is actively seeking a seasoned and forward-thinking Risk Manager to spearhead the identification, evaluation, and mitigation of risks across our diverse portfolio of projects and operational activities. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing robust risk management frameworks and processes that safeguard the organization’s strategic objectives. This position demands a proactive approach, requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and key stakeholders to embed a culture of risk awareness and ensure full compliance with regulatory mandates.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Framework Development: Create, refine, and maintain comprehensive risk management policies, procedures, and tools that are fully aligned with the company’s long-term vision and operational goals.
• Risk Identification & Assessment: Proactively identify, evaluate, and analyze risks spanning projects, operations, safety protocols, financial performance, and regulatory compliance to preempt potential disruptions.
• Collaborative Mitigation Planning: Partner with project teams and stakeholders to develop tailored risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans that address vulnerabilities and enhance resilience.
• Risk Monitoring & Reporting: Establish and track key risk indicators, providing timely and insightful reports to senior management to facilitate informed decision-making and strategic adjustments.
• Training & Awareness Initiatives: Lead engaging risk workshops and training programs to cultivate a risk-aware culture, ensuring that best practices are embedded at all organizational levels.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards governing risk management, thereby mitigating legal and operational exposures.
• Audit & Review Leadership: Facilitate comprehensive risk reviews and audits, while actively supporting incident investigations and root cause analyses to drive continuous improvement.
• Maturity Enhancement: Champion initiatives that elevate the organization’s risk management maturity, fostering innovation and sustainability in risk governance.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, you will bring a blend of academic excellence and hands-on experience. A Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a closely related field is essential. We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in risk management, with a strong preference for professionals who have honed their expertise within the construction or engineering sectors.

You will demonstrate a deep understanding of risk management frameworks, methodologies, and cutting-edge tools, coupled with exceptional analytical acumen, problem-solving prowess, and decisive judgment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are vital to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels, from operational teams to executive leadership. While professional certifications such as PMI-RMP or IRM are not mandatory, they will be viewed as a significant advantage.
