Role Overview

At SLS The Red Sea, the guest journey begins the moment they arrive. As a Doorman, you will serve as one of the first points of contact, setting the tone with a warm welcome, a confident demeanor, and the signature SLS personality. Your role is pivotal in crafting a seamless and memorable first and last impression for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Engagement: Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure, ensuring a positive and lasting impression.
• Arrival & Departure Support: Open and close vehicle doors with precision, facilitating a smooth and attentive experience for guests.
• Luggage Assistance: Coordinate with the Bell team to assist guests with their luggage, ensuring a hassle-free transition.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with Valet, Bell, Concierge, and Front Office teams to ensure seamless guest arrivals and departures.
• Transportation Coordination: Assist guests with taxis and transportation arrangements, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Entrance Management: Maintain the safe and efficient flow of vehicles and guests at the hotel entrance, ensuring a polished and welcoming environment.
• Guest Information: Provide accurate and insightful information about the hotel, its facilities, and services to enhance the guest experience.
• Proactive Service: Anticipate guest needs and offer assistance proactively, ensuring a personalized and attentive experience.
• Maintenance & Presentation: Keep the entrance area clean, organized, and visually appealing, reflecting the high standards of SLS.
• Professional Standards: Maintain a polished, professional, and welcoming appearance in alignment with SLS grooming and service guidelines.
• Compliance & Safety: Adhere to hotel safety, security, and operational procedures at all times to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Prior experience in a hotel, resort, or hospitality setting is highly desirable.
• Communication: Strong verbal communication skills with a naturally welcoming and professional demeanor.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while remaining composed under pressure.
• Physical Fitness: Capable of assisting guests with luggage and standing for extended periods.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays to meet operational demands.
• Team Orientation: A positive, professional, and collaborative attitude with a strong commitment to guest service.
• Luxury Experience: Prior experience in a luxury or lifestyle hospitality environment is advantageous.
