  • Inventory & Consumption Oversight: Conduct thorough reviews of food and beverage costs, consumption patterns, wastage, and inventory movements to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization.
  • Inventory Audits & Controls: Perform regular audits of inventory, including stock counts, transfers, and spoilage reports, to maintain accuracy and accountability in cost tracking.
  • Budget & Forecast Alignment: Compare actual expenditures against established budgets and forecasts, investigate variances, and recommend corrective actions to uphold financial discipline.
  • Procurement Collaboration: Partner with the Procurement team to evaluate purchase prices, validate purchase orders, and analyze supplier-related cost data to secure favorable terms without compromising quality.
  • Storeroom & Transfer Management: Review storeroom procedures, consumption records, and internal transfers to ensure precise cost allocation and adherence to financial protocols.
  • Culinary & F&B Coordination: Work alongside Culinary and Food & Beverage teams to assess recipe costing, enforce portion control, and analyze menu profitability to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare comprehensive cost reports, including food cost, beverage cost, inventory movement, and other key operational indicators, to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement strategies to reduce wastage, streamline operations, and strengthen cost-control frameworks across the resort.
  • Month-End Support: Assist in month-end closing activities, including inventory valuation, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations, to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Maintain meticulous, audit-ready records and supporting documentation to uphold hotel policies, internal controls, and Finance procedures.
