Design Coordinator / Design Project Manager (Jeddah-Makkah region)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Design Coordinator / Design Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the Jeddah-Makkah region. Key Responsibilities

• Project Coordination: Oversee and manage all aspects of design projects, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation, to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to align design objectives with project goals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Design Review & Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of design deliverables to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Client & Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring alignment with project expectations.
• Budget & Resource Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of project progress, including design changes, approvals, and milestones, and prepare comprehensive reports for management review.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure project continuity.
• Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance project outcomes and drive innovation within the team.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in design coordination or project management, preferably within the construction, architecture, or interior design sectors.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Leadership & Communication: Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Arabic is required; additional languages are a valuable asset.
• Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the Jeddah-Makkah region’s regulatory environment, cultural nuances, and market dynamics is highly desirable.
