Role Overview

As the Enterprise Platform, Apps & Data Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the strategic vision and roadmap for the IT/OT Directorate. This leadership position requires a forward-thinking approach to drive innovation, optimize existing services, and introduce new solutions that align with the organization’s long-term objectives. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire customer journey, from defining the vision to delivering end-to-end solutions that enhance operational efficiency, user experience, and business value. Your role will encompass analyzing requirements, identifying technological solutions, and ensuring seamless integration across business processes, applications, data, infrastructure, and services—all within defined KPIs, approved budgets, and established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Vision and Roadmap Development: Define and deliver a comprehensive vision and roadmap for all existing and new services within the IT/OT Directorate, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategic goals and customer-centric objectives.
• Customer Journey Optimization: Lead the design and implementation of customer-focused journeys, identifying opportunities to enhance user experience, streamline processes, and drive engagement across all touchpoints.
• Solution Analysis and Acquisition: Conduct in-depth analysis of business requirements to determine the most effective solutions—whether through acquisition, development, or integration—ensuring they meet enterprise needs while adhering to budgetary and operational constraints.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across business units, IT teams, and external partners to align technological solutions with enterprise processes, applications, data management, infrastructure, and service delivery frameworks.
• Performance and Compliance Management: Monitor and evaluate service performance against established KPIs, ensuring adherence to organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices in IT governance and data security.
• Budget and Resource Oversight: Manage financial resources effectively, optimizing budget allocation to maximize return on investment while maintaining high standards of service quality and innovation.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess a minimum of nine years of hands-on experience in Information Technology, with at least two years in a managerial capacity. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required, though advanced degrees or relevant certifications are highly desirable. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven track record in leading IT initiatives, driving digital transformation, and delivering scalable solutions that align with business objectives. Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills are essential to foster collaboration, inspire teams, and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
